BACKGROUND
I love my friends but lots of them are spread all around the country and between the ins and outs of everyone’s schedules and a general lack of disposable income it always seems to take months to go from emailing people with “let’s meet up!” to actually making arrangements and sticking by them. And that’s often my fault. I’m not proactive enough – sometimes because I can be reluctant to foist myself on busy people, friends or not! – so this goal is part of an effort to be more proactive in maintaining and supporting friendships with the people I love and admire.
